This body is designed to fit an offset chassis, commonly referred to as a straight rail chassis. Other features of this body include: a 47" roof height which is measured 10" back from the windshield on the centerline, the roof is mounted 2 1/2" left of the centerline of the tread width, offset quarter panels, fits up to a 65" tread width with 10" tires, and will fit up to a 108" wheel base (106" with plastic fenders). The quarter panels and optional fenders are made of our standard high quality fiberglass with high impact resistant plastic used for the standard (wide) fenders and rocker panels. Hoods and roofs come in your choice of standard fiberglass, advanced composite liteweight or carbon fiber. The doors and optional rocker panels are made of .040 pre-painted white aluminum while the nose and bumper cover come in your choice of black or white high impact resistant plastic. Five Star offset fiberglass bodies are designed and manufactured to exacting tolerances.
