Dominator, the next generation in aerodynamic helmets, delivers stability at high-speeds in a compact, comfortable, ultra-lightweight package. Designed and tested with the involvement of racing's best drivers, it is the helmet of choice for all forms of open wheel and kart racing. Dominator's features built in trip strips, rear wicker and front spoiler combine to deliver outstanding aerodynamic performance. In addition, the Dominator features our new SRV friction shield system*. This new system has a slide mechanism that allows the driver to adjust the tension on the shield allowing for multiple opening positions. When properly adjusted and in the locked position, the SRV system helps reduce the possibility of the shield opening during an impact.
Bell also makes a Sprint Car version of the Dominator that does not have forehead vents or chin bar vents to prevent dust and dirt from entering the helmet. The Sprint Car Dominator is available by special order only. Allow two weeks for delivery.
* Sizes 7⅛ through 7¾, built after September 26, 2006, are equipped with an SRV friction shield system.
Bell Racing Helmets are pre-drilled specifically for use with HANS Clips and the HANS device. Consult the manufacturer of any other head and neck restraint device for proper use and installation as hardware and mounting locations may be different.
